I recently had a heat pump installed and can say, without reservation, that it was a great experience. The installation process uses a team approach. Special mention to Rod Alfaro for his patience and expertise in mapping out the most efficient wiring and equipment layout, and to Ahmad and his team for executing the work. The installation was done quickly and neatly, overcoming antiquated wiring issues with ease. I was kept in the loop during all phases of the work and am highly satisfied with the installation. We were very happy with HeatPumps.ca, from our first meeting with Darren to the installation of the heat pump. We had talked to several other companies, and Darren was the first representative who explained every aspect of the heat pump clearly and honestly and without being pushy. The quote he provided was for the total cost, including the necessary additions to our electrical system. The electrical upgrade was arranged by HeatPumps.ca and provided by two electricians from Shannon Electric who did an excellent job. The installation of the heat pump itself, along with the auxiliary gas heater was accomplished quickly and neatly, from delivery to completion. Everyone involved was pleasant and professional – and our heat pump works beautifully. We would definitely recommend HeatPumps.ca to anyone considering a heat pump.

Rod worked with me to on speccing a tricky 3rd floor heat pump installation and matched me with the installers Julian & Mat. Rod cut my initial estimated costs and Julian completed the installation in only a single day - WAY ahead! Their quote was very competitive, they got the job done quickly during the busiest season and there were no issues along the way. I will use them exclusively going forward and will have the back in the spring for maintenance on our ductless A/C.

Pat quoted, and Drew and Caesar came in to do the installation in early Feb. The entire operation was great, start to finish. Quotes were fast, and reasonable. Had a reliable Panasonic brand for the install. In the end we moved to a heatpump solution with 10kW backup heater for the worst days, and decided to get the old NG hot water tank replaced same time. Happy with the entire process, and especially to the communication aspect. All questions (and I had MANY) were answered immediately, often with a phone call. Very happy with the work and staff.
